As we step into May 2025, it’s been anything but calm. This month has brought record-breaking tornado outbreaks and relentless heavy rainfall, some of the most extreme weather we’ve seen in years. Yet, through all the challenges, our dedicated road crew at Born Again Pews pressed on, undeterred by the elements.
Their latest destination: Seminole, Texas, where our friends at Summerfield Church eagerly awaited their arrival. This was no ordinary delivery — our team was tasked with assembling and installing an impressive 67 of our signature Style 3001 pews. These pews varied in length, ranging from a compact 4 feet to an expansive 15 feet, custom-designed to meet the church’s specific needs.
Each pew was outfitted with thoughtful features that set them apart: custom double-capacity book racks, generous communion cup holders, and under-seat book racks on every unit. For the upholstery, we selected premium Sherpa Grey Heather fabric—a material known for its durability and resistance to stains, ensuring the pews maintain their beauty and comfort for years to come.
The woodwork was stained in the timeless Minwax Provincial, a rich and warm finish that complements any sanctuary space. We then sealed it with a high-gloss lacquer to provide not only a striking appearance but also long-lasting protection against wear.
