Our Final State in the lower 48
Historic Maine Church Pew Installation
In June 2025, our road crew embarked on a memorable journey to Burnham, Maine, the final state in the continental U.S. to receive Born Again Pews.
What initially seemed like a routine trip quickly became an unexpected adventure. Midway through the journey, our truck broke down, causing a significant delay.
To keep the project moving, we immediately sent out a second truck; however, it also experienced mechanical issues along the way.
After waiting two days for temporary repairs, our crew returned home, completed the necessary fixes, and set out again with renewed determination.
By God’s grace and perfect timing, the second attempt was successful, allowing us to finally arrive at Burnham Baptist Church in Maine.
This milestone marked our presence in all 48 continental U.S. states, a huge achievement for our company and our team.
Pew Assembly and Installation Burnham Baptist Church
Upon arrival, our owner Rex Blisard and his family began assembling and installing 13 Style 3001 church pews.
Each pew featured durable oak backs, standard book racks with communion cup holders, and was finished in a rich Carrington stain.
To ensure long-lasting beauty, every pew was topped with a high-gloss lacquer finish, providing both elegance and protection for years of use.
Our upholstery team completed the installation with Chesapeake Blue fabric on both seats and backs, creating a cohesive and inviting sanctuary appearance.
Coordinating Sanctuary Furniture
In addition to the pews, we delivered a matching Style 8050 pulpit, a 7005-communion table, and 21 choir chairs to fully outfit the sanctuary.
Together, these pieces enhanced both the functionality and visual appeal of the worship space, resulting in a beautiful, unified sanctuary design.
Perseverance and Gratitude
It took two trucks, two trips, and a lot of perseverance, but the installation was completed successfully, exceeding expectations.
