June 2025 brought a milestone moment for Born Again Pews. Our road crew traveled to Burnham Baptist Church in Maine—the very last state in the lower 48 to receive a Born Again Pews installation. With this project, we can now say we’ve delivered and installed custom church furniture in all 48 continental U.S. states!
The journey was anything but easy. What should have been a routine trip quickly turned into an adventure. Our first truck broke down halfway there, and when we sent out a second truck, it also broke down. After two days of temporary repairs, the crew returned home, made the necessary fixes, and set out again. By God’s grace and perfect timing, the second attempt was a success, and the installation was completed.
Inside Burnham Baptist Church, our team—including owner Rex Blisard and his family—assembled and installed:

13 of our Style 3001 pews with oak backs, book racks (featuring communion cup holders), and a Carrington finish with high-gloss lacquer.

A matching Style 8050 pulpit.

A Style 7005 communion table.

21 choir chairs to complete the sanctuary.
Each pew was upholstered with Chesapeake Blue fabric on the seats and backs, blending beautifully with the sanctuary’s design.
This installation in Maine not only provided a refreshed worship space for Burnham Baptist Church, but it also marked the fulfillment of a long-term goal—Born Again Pews has now installed church pews in every one of the lower 48 states.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful people of Maine for their patience, kindness, and partnership. It took two trucks, two trips, and a whole lot of perseverance, but the results turned out beautifully.
