This is the first stop on our 3 stop tour through Missouri and Illinois. This was a nice small town that laid right beside the railroad tracks. This was a store front church that was built out of an old bank. They told us that the military used to keep their payroll there on the way to Fort Leonard Wood. The train would stop here and let lots of military men on and off. There is a lot of history in these old towns and I love learning it all. But we finished up and headed to Versailles IL.
