Many communion tables have the phrase “Do This In Remembrance of Me” or “This do in Remembrance of Me” carved into the table’s apron but not all churches use this language during their church services. Some churches change the language they use depending on the service time, having both traditional services and contemporary services to better serve their congregation. The phrase “Do This In Remembrance of Me” may not be the words your congregation most strongly associates with communion.
