Born Again Pews recently had the privilege of providing a complete collection of custom church furniture for St. John’s Baptist Church in Texarkana, Texas. This project included 23 custom church pews, a matching pulpit and communion table, an offering table, and several pastor and deacon chairs, all handcrafted from solid red oak.
The result was a coordinated sanctuary furniture package designed to provide comfort, durability, and a traditional appearance throughout the church.
23 Style 3001 Church Pews with Engraved Crosses
For the sanctuary seating, St. John’s Baptist Church selected 23 of our popular Style 3001 church pews. Each pew features an engraved cross in the pew end, adding a simple but meaningful detail to the traditional solid-oak design.
The pews were finished with a rich Red Oak stain, highlighting the natural grain and character of the solid red oak construction.
Tahoe Emerald Green Fabric Texarkana, TX
For the upholstery, the church chose Tahoe Emerald Green fabric. The deep green color provides a beautiful contrast against the warm tones of the stained oak and gives the sanctuary a classic, welcoming appearance.
Comfort and appearance are both important when choosing new sanctuary seating, and this combination created a traditional look that complements the church beautifully.
Complete Book Racks with Communion Cup Holder
Each pew was also equipped with book racks complete with communion cup holders and card pockets.
These additions provide convenient storage for Bibles, hymnals, visitor cards, offering envelopes, and communion cups while keeping the seating area neat and organized. - Texarkana Texas
An Impressive Matching 9600 Pulpit
The centerpiece of the platform furniture is our impressive Model 9600 Pulpit.
Built from solid red oak and finished to match the new sanctuary pews, the 9600 provides a substantial and traditional focal point for the platform. Matching the pulpit to the pews helps bring the entire sanctuary together with one consistent wood finish and design.
Matching 9650 Communion Table and Offering Table
The project also included a Model 9650 Communion Table, built and finished to coordinate with the pulpit and pews.
A matching offering table was added as well, giving St. John’s Baptist Church a complete collection of sanctuary furniture rather than a mixture of unrelated pieces.
Pastor and Deacon Chairs
To complete the platform area, we also provided multiple matching pastor and deacon chairs.
Like the other furniture in this project, the chairs were constructed from solid red oak and designed to complement the pews, pulpit, communion table, and offering table.
The result is a sanctuary where the seating and platform furniture share the same craftsmanship, wood tones, and traditional character.
