A Beautiful Custom Church Pew Project in Houston Texas
Born Again Pews was honored to build and install 55 custom church pews for St. Gregorios Orthodox Church in Houston, Texas. This was a sizable project with pews varying in length from 6 feet to 14 feet, allowing the seating layout to fit the sanctuary while providing comfortable seating throughout the worship space.

Custom 2005 Pew Ends and Book Racks
For their new sanctuary seating, St. Gregorios Orthodox Church selected our 2005 pew end style, which was customized specifically for their project.
The pews were also equipped with solid wood book racks, providing convenient storage for Bibles, hymnals, and other worship materials while maintaining the clean, traditional appearance of the seating.

A Custom Stain Created for the Sanctuary
The church selected a custom stain color for the woodwork, allowing the new pews to coordinate beautifully with the existing colors and architectural features of the sanctuary.
Custom stain matching can make an enormous difference in a finished project, especially in a church where the pews need to complement existing woodwork, flooring, trim, or other sanctuary furniture.
Tahoe Venus Crimson Fabric
The upholstered seats and backs were finished in Tahoe Venus Crimson fabric.
The rich crimson upholstery provides a beautiful contrast against the custom-stained wood and gives the pews the traditional, dignified appearance that works especially well within the sanctuary of St. Gregorios Orthodox Church.
With 55 pews ranging from 6 to 14 feet long, the combination of the custom 2005 ends, coordinating stain, book racks, and Venus Crimson upholstery brought the entire seating project together.
