Custom Church Pew Installation in Cumberland Furnace, TN – April 2026

As the first days of April arrived, our installation team—Rex and Shaun—hit the road for Cumberland Furnace, where a truly special project awaited at the Soul Mind and Body Retreat. This installation brought together craftsmanship, design, and purpose to help create a warm and inviting worship space built to last for generations.

12 Custom #5002 Church Pews – Built for Beauty & Durability

At the heart of this project were 12 of our custom #5002 church pews, carefully crafted to blend traditional style with long-lasting performance.

Each pew featured:

  • Integrated kneelers for prayer and reflection
  • Built-in bookracks for convenience
  • Finished oak backsides for a polished look from every angle

These pews were expertly finished in a Colonial White paint, accented with a rich Dark Walnut stain, creating a timeless contrast that enhances any sanctuary. To complete the look, we upholstered each pew in durable and elegant Shire Travertine fabric, offering both comfort and style.

Complete Matching Church Furniture Package

In addition to the pews, we delivered a full suite of matching custom church furniture, all designed to complement the sanctuary’s aesthetic and functionality:

  • Custom Pulpit
  • Privacy Fences with kneelers and bookracks
  • Set of 3 Pulpit Chairs
  • Large Altar Table
  • Bookshelf with adjustable shelving
  • Custom-designed Cabinet with doors and brushed nickel pulls
  • 3 Custom Flower Stands
  • Portable Confessional with kneeler

Each piece was thoughtfully designed and built to create a cohesive and functional worship environment.

Premium Craftsmanship with Solid Red Oak

All furniture pieces in this project were handcrafted using high-quality red oak, known for its strength, durability, and beautiful grain patterns. Every item was carefully stained and painted to perfectly match the pews, ensuring a seamless look throughout the space.

To protect and preserve the finish, each piece was coated with a pre-catalyzed lacquer, providing long-lasting durability and resistance to wear—ideal for high-use church environments.

What is the Soul, Mind & Body Retreat?

The Soul, Mind & Body Retreat is one of Kendra Von Esh’s ministry offerings.

Core focus

It’s a faith-based retreat, not just a general wellness getaway. The emphasis is on:

  • Deepening your relationship with God
  • Strengthening prayer habits
  • Addressing struggles like anxiety, sin patterns, or addictions
  • Aligning your spiritual life (soul), thought life (mind), and physical habits (body)

You’ll often see her connect these three areas as interdependent—what you think affects your soul, and both affect your actions and physical life.
